Thanks to the owners of Tubs of Suds Laundromat who heard noises in the heat vents of their dryers, then quickly shut them down and found a Short Eared Brush Tailed Possum had fallen into the vents.
They then called Wilvos who called us to get the Possum out. Thankfully we were able to leave the trap over night and catch him.
Whilst being treated by the great staff at the Eumundi Wildlife Rehab Centre for burns, the owners blocked off the entry and this lucky fella was released back home.
