MEET THE TEAM.
William Watson
Founder
Will is the Chief Rescue Officer and Founder of Wildlife Noosa. Will began rescuing wildlife around Noosa several years ago when he returned home to help his ageing parents after a serious car accident 12 years ago ended his career in land engineering.
Having always worked on the land and with a love for animals, Will began rescuing sick and injured wildlife and now rescues about 1,000 animals a year.

Will's greatest wish is for Wildlife Noosa to be an advocate and protector of Wildlife far into the future, educating the public on the importance of a healthy and vibrant Biosphere.

Will has recently been awarded a 2024 Queensland Day Award for his dedication and hard work in the greater Noosa community.

Volunteers
Wildlife Noosa depends on its army of amazing volunteers to rescue and provide immediate care to our beautiful wildlife, and ensure that the environment we all share is safe for them 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year. Our volunteers are committed to caring for our wildlife, without them we would not be able to be quickly respond to the thousands of calls we receive each year to help our injured and 'at risk' wildlife.
