Injured duck on the Noosa River

We were contacted by Noosa River Holiday Park about an injured duck that guests had found on the Noosa River.

The little Pacific Black duck was struggling to walk and was trying its best to keep up with its partner.

We rescued the little duck with its partner watching on then transported it to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre at Eumundi where the expert staff set about treating it.

It was revealed that both legs were injured with one having two fractures. The amazing staff nursed the little duck back to health after spending a few weeks being treated.

We were so happy to see this little duck all better and being set free back on the Noosa River.....a great result.
